Video support in VlogSite Professional
When making a new post, the user can select if he would like to add a video file to it (which will be shown inline with the post content) or not. For the video, the blogger can specify the file, the preferred width/height (detected automatically if FFMPEG is enabled) and the alignment. The videos show up inline with the posts content, the system has a client script which checks what type of player the user has installed on his computer (Windows Media Player, Real One Player or QuickTime), so it shows the available player or if the video is FLV, it launches an own player. In order to avoid the loading of multiple videos (if there are multiple video posts on a page - for example the home page of a vlog) instead of loading directly the video, there is a small play icon which shows up - this icon has to be clicked in order to load the video. If FFMPEG is enabled, the clickable video play link contains also the grabbed picture from the first video frame. Click here to read more for the script requirements. |
